★★★★★ “I LOVED Tutti Frutti! It was SO good. The sex was written tastefully & sexily, yet realistically. It also had a great story to it. I found myself wishing that it was a 2″ thick novel!
I recommend this story to anyone who reads erotica. It’s 50 shades better than some other popular smut books out there today…”

– Valerie, early-reviewer
★★★★★ ” Tony writes about sex in a way that assures the reader that he respects the act. The scenes are detailed and use some sensitive vocabulary, but never once will you feel as though the sex is shameful or dirty. “
– David K. Hulegaard, author of Noble, Noble: Bloodlines and Strangers.

★★★★★  “The sex scenes were descriptive without being trashy. I felt like there was a connection between the characters.”

– Tanya, early-reviewer
★★★★★  “Tutti Frutti plays like Last Tango in Paris or a Tinto Brass film. Explicit, yes, steamy, of course, but all existing inside a greater course of events that can only be described as human. Charming. Bittersweet.

To write Erotica that is explicit but not exploitive of either the characters or reader is to communicate something about the experiences we share as a species. Tutti Frutti achieves that and I highly recommend it.”
– Bernard Schaffer, best-selling author of Whitechapel, Superbia and The Guns of Seneca 6.

Okay. Now about tutti frutti.

I’ve been writing a supernatural novella, called Memory. I’m writing it in conjunction with both David Hulegaard and Brendan Swogger, who are working on parallel projects. However a few weeks ago I hit a block with it. The story I was writing sort of fizzled out to nothing at the 8,000 word mark. I didn’t know what to do. I had also hit a block with Adolf Hitler Must Die.

I thought to myself, “Why not write a bit of erotica? Try your hand at it?” So that’s what I did. I sat down without a plan, or anything, and just wrote. I did that for about 12 days, and ended up with tutti frutti, a 17,000 word novella.

Sure, it ended up more as a romance than hardcore erotica. But it’s full of sex, and I think it will appeal as much to those who love erotica as those who love romance.

I totally enjoyed writing it, and I do feel now that I’m into the editing stage with Laurie, that it’s among my best work. And I can tell you, I listened to some strange stuff whilst writing it. You’d think I was plugged into Liberace, but that couldn’t be any further from the truth.

Here’s the 3 albums I listened to over and over as I wrote:

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, “The Rising.”

Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes, “Live At The Greek.”

Prometheus, The Official Soundtrack.

The process of writing it also enlightened me to a few things. First of all, I figured out what to do with Adolf Hitler Must Die, and secondly I realised that I had a better story than what I had with Memory. Something dark and a little bit twisted. I think readers will totally love Memory when it’s done. It’s got to be the most original plot I’ve ever come up with.

Anyway, that’s it for now. Look for that freebie on Friday, and please try to leave me a review.
