I’ve thought of doing this for a while. There were close to 100 tracks recorded for Springsteen’s great BORN IN THE USA album, and only 12 made the cut. I wondered what my own selection of unused tracks might sound like, and this is what I came up with.
It’s an alternate BORN IN THE USA, featuring some great songs, such as ‘Frankie’, ‘Wages of Sin’, ‘Janey Don’t You Lose Heart’, and works cohesively as a selection of 10 tracks in my humble opinion.
1. Murder Incorporated
2. Janey Don’t You Lose Heart
3. Frankie
4. Pink Cadillac
5. My Love Will Not Let You Down
6. Wages Of Sin
7. Johnny Bye-Bye
8. Man At The Top
9. A Good Man Is Hard To Find
10. This Hard Land
